ECOSYSTEM OF SENSATIONS

we share water with all the humans and non-humans
through the water, we are connected
to plants and animals, to earth
thinking through the water
dissolves the anthropocentric stories
gives peace to the mind
interact respectfully
with a small pond in the garden
be part of the ecosystem of sensations
of swampy textures and aquatic plants
FEMININE IMAGINATION

thinking through liquidity
has the potential to inspire a feminist perspective
leading towards non-linear fictional stories
towards emancipatory feminine imagination
that dismantles historical and scientific stories
stories that are written for privileged by privileged

i couldn't recognize myself in the art world
that created a habit of seeing myself
from the white patriarchal point of view
everything i could imagine was men-made
i tried to create my own imagination
i created feminine stories
removing from the essentialist idea about the human
the water makes me experience
and connect to different bodies
feminine body
liquid body
otherness
WATER AS AN ARCHIVE

water can be like an archive
going through all of us
it expresses a desire of a collective interspecies intelligence
it is our origin
in a mythological sense, we came from the water
in a biological sense, we came from the water
we need water to evolve
contemplation as observing with sensibility
feeling of endless time
when attracted to water
you go a bit deeper
you go beyond the binary way of thinking
deconstructing habits of separation
habit of building hierarchy
you get other eyes to look at the world
everything can be connected and respond to each other
without any differentiation
PERMEABLE SKIN

when you are swimming
you feel like you are inside your own body
or you are becoming the outside
you are becoming water
maybe the question needs to change
what i am rather than who i am
body changes its states
from solid to liquid
from frozen to sweat
water cycles of the body?
it is permeable
it is porous
is the body soaking the drops?
what comes in or out?
so many hidden processes
and micro levels of exchange
EXPERIENCING DIRT

garden is a human construct
constructed reality
there is a conflict between caring and controlling nature
contradiction between beauty and cruelty
and you have to experience the dirt
nature is something that you are sharing
artistic work is something that you are sharing
not showing how it is perfect and beautiful
art reflecting true nature is rare
it is fragile to sustain
you construct the nature in the garden
you construct art creation
it seems like there is nothing to do with the reality
it is a weird representation of power
it seems like it is not really living with us
we perceive nature as inert?
that it cannot exist without us
we dominate
we extract what we want
while using disturbing control
and nature would be completely fine without us
CHANGING MATTER

how can we communicate with other than human
it is an urgent question
how do we develop sensitivity to the environment
and the art world that reacts
inspired by unexpected sources
and stories from the environment
reflecting the world
changing the world
is making an exhibition even necessary?
we need to find other ways to make and share art
changing the medium
mobilizing tools and skills
water is not linear
always changing shape
changing matter
changing form
constant change and fluidity
there is no certainty
there is no stale, static repetition
moving through ambiguity
